It is a govt. approved 100% Export-oriented unit for manufacture of shipping containers & is equipped to manufacture other steel fabrications too. Highlights
-	Hyundai group is the largest container manufacturer in the world; it has supplied technology for setting up the plant with the most technologically advanced industrial machinery and facilities.

-	The project has been co-financed by the Commonwealth Development Corporation, Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation, and SCICI Ltd.
