Daurala Distillery

Power Co-Generation
Green Power is produced at Daurala using sugarcane bagasse (SCB) as the renewable feedstock. Not only does this power the entire manufacturing complex, we also provide steady green power directly back to the power grid.
This renewable energy is accessible through scalable capacity and flexible delivery agreements, with uninterrupted year-round supply. With a capacity of 86MW of green power, Daurala serves as a model for sugar manufacturers looking to invest in green energy that benefits both industrial end-users and the environment at-large.
As a zero-liquid-discharge facility, Daurala Distillery promotes the production of green power from renewable sources, contributing significantly to the ~6,500 MW of green power supplied to the national grid by the sugar/alcohol industry.
